1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Fastrr. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Health disclaimer — READ THIS
Fastrr is a wellness and habit-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content in the app (educational tips, phase information, insights) is for general informational purposes only.
You should not begin any fasting regimen without consulting a qualified health professional. Fasting is not appropriate for everyone, including but not limited to:
- Pregnant or nursing individuals
- People with a history of eating disorders
- People with diabetes or on diabetes medication
- People with certain heart conditions
- Individuals under 18
- Anyone with a chronic medical condition
If you experience dizziness, weakness, chest pain, fainting, or any concerning symptom while fasting, stop immediately and consult a medical professional.
You use Fastrr at your own risk. We are not liable for any adverse health outcomes arising from your use of the app or any fasting regimen you choose to follow.
3. Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your credentials secure
- All activity that happens under your account
- Providing accurate information when signing up
You may delete your account at any time in the app via Profile → Settings (gear icon) → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent — see our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Subscription and payments
Fastrr offers premium features via auto-renewing subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree that:
- Your subscription begins immediately when you tap the “Start Free Trial” or “Subscribe” button.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before then.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription auto-renews at the same price and billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their standard refund policy — we do not process refunds directly.
Subscription prices and free trial durations are shown on the paywall before purchase.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to bypass the subscription or authentication systems
- Interfere with the operation of the app or our servers
- Impersonate another person
6. Intellectual property
All content, features, code, design, and branding in Fastrr are owned by the developer or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You retain ownership of the data you enter (fasting logs, weight logs, notes). By entering data, you grant us a license to store and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the app to you.
7. Third-party services
Fastrr integrates with third-party services (Apple HealthKit, Supabase, Resend, RevenueCat, PostHog, Sentry). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
8. Availability
We do our best to keep Fastrr running smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Sync, cloud backup, and subscription verification depend on third-party services that may occasionally be unavailable.
The app functions offline for its core features. Cloud sync is a convenience, not a data-backup service — you are responsible for keeping your own records of any critical data.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Fastrr. This includes but is not limited to health outcomes, lost data, lost profits, or emotional distress.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it and (if applicable) deleting your account.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in the app and reflected by the “Effective date” above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
